STREAM GAUGES Locations of gauges for stream monitoring stations were obtained as text files in Lat/Long format for California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana, and downloaded from the USGS website. These data were then used to generate a spatial database of points representing the locations. Data were then reprojected from geographic (Lat/Long) to UTM in meters, Zone 10, NAD27. Although there were no official accompanying metadata, the following information was provided.
