Smaller mean diameter of bed materials in the area just below the armor layer may be indicative of fine sediment sources just upstream. Data were collected during the summer or fall for years 1995 to 2000 by Balance Hydrologics, Inc. for the Marin Municipal Water District. Monitoring sites are shown upstream to downstream.
