This is a photo of the Azalea Hotel or Camp Taylor, built in the 1880's at the present Samuel P. Taylor State Park, on Lagunitas Creek. It was operated by James Taylor, the son of the pioneer paper maker, and burned down in 1924. Photo taken circa 1908 and provided courtesy of the Marin History Museum.
