| Description | Aquatic invertebrate sampling was conducted in the summer of 1995 using dipnets and seines in Stemple and Americano Creeks, along with other watersheds in the Petaluma and Santa Rosa areas. Aquatic invertebrates were sampled at the nine reservoir sites proposed by the City of Santa Rosa, during May 1995. In addition, the Stemple Creek and Americano Creek reservoir sites were surveyed again in August 1995. |

| Purpose | The City of Santa Rosa and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers commissioned a series of studies to examine areas for potential places where wastewater could be disbursed, including waterbodies outside the Russian River basin. Aquatic life sampling was conducted to characterize the existing fish, reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate fauna in streams that may be affected by various project alternatives. |
