Area S Marin/Redwood Creek
Topic Climate: Redwood Creek Mean Monthly Rainfall and Evaporation 1941-1994

Caption:  The Chart Table climate_redwood_monthlyrain_pwa.xls.db shows mean monthly precipitation, evaporation, potential evapotranspiration (PET), and available water, all of which are recorded in inches. These data were summarized by Philip Williams & Associates, Ltd. for the California Department of Transportation, District IV as part of data collection for an environmental assessment for the restoration of Big Lagoon (located at the mouth of Redwood Creek). Precipitation data were compiled from National Park Service's Muir Woods daily records (1941 to approximately 1994). Evaporation data were compiled for Marin Municipal Water District's Lagunitas Reservoir records (dates used not given). Potential evapotranspiration (PET) was computed from pan evaporation using a pan coefficient of 0.7.

50 rows of a possible 95 have been displayed.
