Maps of anadromous and resident fish distribution in KRIS Battle Creek Version 2.0 are based on professional judgement of Mike Ward of Terraqua Inc., who consulted with watershed residents and Lassen National Forest. See description of methods on Page 7 of the Battle Creek Watershed Assessment. 

Dr. Paul Trichilo of the KRIS project created points of upstream limits and highlighted stream arcs on 1:100000 USGS hydrography to show reaches below barriers specified by Terraqua as accessible to Pacific salmon.
