Area Caspar Creek
Topic Fish: Outmigrant Salmonids by Week, 1999

Caption:  California Department of Fish and Game downstream migrant trap results for Caspar Creek in 1999 show a peak migration for coho in early March, peak outmigration for young-of-the-year steelhead in May, and a fairly steady migration rate for yearling steelhead throughout the spring. Yearling numbers are low, but not greatly exceeded by young-of-the-year numbers, as in other years. Total catch should not be considered an outmigrant population estimate due to unknown trap efficiency. See Info Links for more information.
