Topic Temperature: Min, Max and Average South Fork 1996
 
Caption:  Water temperatures in South Fork Big River (Site 791) in 1996 peaked at 23.5 degrees C in late July. The maximum diurnal temperature shift was approximately 4-5 degrees Celsius throughout summer. Fluctuations of 10.5 C were recorded during the period of record. The optimal water temperature for salmonid growth of 10-15 degrees C was exceeded for much of the summer. Click on Info Links for more information. Click on Picture to see location.
