Caption:  The above chart plots floating weekly average temperature of Schooner Gulch and its tributaries for the year 2001. Floating weekly average temperatures did not exceed 16.8 degrees at any of the four sites measured, indicating suitable temperatures for coho. Welsh et al. (2001) found that coho are not likely to persist where maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) exceeds 16.8°C. See InfoLinks for more information.
