Caption:  This chart shows the results of a 1991 lower Garcia habitat typing survey with frequency of pool depth categories for the lower mainstem from the North Fork to the estuary. There are many deep pools in the lower Garcia, which gives it high carrying capacity for juvenile steelhead. Data collected as part of Garcia River Watershed Enhancement Plan (Mendocino RCD, 1992).
