Caption:  This chart shows results from pool-tail substrate composition analysis of bulk samples in Allen Creek in 1999 on a logarithmic (log) scale, where increments between marked points go up sequentially by a factor of ten. The median particle size (D50) of all samples was between 7.5 and 20 mm. Percent fines less than 1 mm ranged from 8-21%. Data provided by McBain and Trush (2000). See InfoLinks for more information.
