Caption:  This chart shows Garcia River cross-section surveys conducted between 1991 and 1998 at the Hooper XS-4 cross-section, located on the Hooper property (Oz). The channel scoured between 1991 and 1993. Between 1993 and 1998, the point bar scoured and the thalweg moved towards the left bank, deepening in 1998. Point bar erosion was offset by deposition along the right bank. Data are from Mendocino County Water Agency. See InfoLinks for more information.
