Caption:  This chart plots floating weekly average temperature of Mill Creek (lower) for the years 1995-2001. This is the Mill Creek in the Middle Garcia Basin, not to be confused with Mill Creek at the Garcia's headwaters (Mill/Pardaloe KRIS sub-basin). Floating weekly average temperatures did not exceeded 16.8° Celsius during any of the years measured. Welsh et al. (2001) found that coho are not likely to persist where maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) exceeds 16.8°C. See InfoLinks for more information.
