This is a map showing digital orthophoto quadrangles (DOQs) of the South Fork Garcia sub-basin, which provide a detailed view of the landscape when at a close zoom. Much of the sub-basin is covered with high road densities and early seral-stage forest. In 1999 Trout Unlimited, Mendocino Redwoods Company, and Pacific Watershed Associates decommissioned some of the roads still visible in this photograph which is from 1996.
