Supplemental InformationVarious file memos from CDFG contain these data (Kimsey, 1953; Cox, 1995; Jones, 2000) as well as reports from private sources (EIP, 1994). See discussions of fish community structure in Higgins (1997). Only recent surveys record amphibian as well as fish species. CDFG should be publishing results of 2001 presence/absence survey early in 2002 as part of stock assessment for coho as required by the CA Fish and Game Commission as a basis for whether to list coho as Endangered under Cal ESA.
