Electronic versions were sent to the Forest in September of 1993 with permission to tweak boundaries so as to place them on logical/field- identifiable features such as ridgetops. 1:124000 manuscripts showing topography, streams, private lands, wilderness & 4P/4G strata and the initial LSR boundaries were prepared. Mike Ford, Assistant Land Management Planner, marked up the proposed changes and these were digitized "heads up" (on-screen). Changes were sent back to Portland for approval. In April 1994 (completion of the Record Of Decision for the Northwest Forest Plan), the Forest received a revised coverage back from the Portland FEMAT office which included the Forest's revisions and some additional areas known as "LSOG add-ons" (late successional old growth).
