DescriptionAnnual snorkel surveys for summer steelhead and spring Chinook on the South Fork Trinity River and Hayfork Creek. For 1992-2002, there are total counts of steelhead and Chinook, but methods are not explained in much detail. For 2002, the data are broken into number of fish per 17 reaches. For 2002, volunteers were recruited from a variety of federal, state and tribal agencies including, but not limited to the US Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Hoopa Valley Tribal Fisheries Program, Yurok Tribal Fisheries Program, US Bureau of Land Management, South Fork Land Conservancy, South Fork CRMP and Americorps.
