Topic Temperature: Salmonid Stress Klamath River at Iron Gate 1996

Caption:  The Chart Table MKIROST2.DBF is derived from Klamath River water temperature data collected by the Karuk Tribe below Iron Gate Dam. Data from the table mkkarukt.dbf was extracted and week format changed for this Chart Table. DATEYYWW = the year and week of the year (i.e. 96 = 20th week of 1996 = 1st week in May). STRESS = the number of hours that temperatures exceed 20 C which is stressful for salmonids and NOSTRESS = hours that do not exceed 20 C. An additional dataset named mkirostr.dbf with a start date of 9540 (first week in October 1995). The set was trimmed because no fish stress occurred that late in the year or in early periods of 1996.
