Topic Flow: Inflow vs. Trinity 1997
Caption:  Once Trinity Dam was built the flow below the dam in the Trinity River did not necessarily reflect inflow into the reservoir above the dam. The 1997 water year included the New Years Flood which shows as the large peak (>77,000 cfs) on inflow into Trinity Lake. Note that flows in the Trinity River below Lewiston were never raised above 6,000 cfs. Data provided by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Geologic Survey.
