Junction City Side Channel under construction in September 1991. This side channel continues to function and runs near Highway 299 at Junction City. Photos provided by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Entrance to the to the Junction City Side Channel at high flows in February 1992. The small bed and bank material at the entrance to the side channel proved unstable so large rock was used to armor the inlet (see Picture #5). Photos provided by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
