Topic	Sediment: Fines <0.85mm for North Fork Noyo Stream Gravels

 

Caption:  The chart above shows fine sediment results (<0.85 mm) from five Noyo stream segments studied by Mendocino Redwood Company in 1998. See Picture for a map of sampling reaches. One bulk sample (12 inches wide by 12 inches deep) was taken near the thalweg at three to four pool tail-outs per segment. Tail-outs insufficient for spawning were ommited. Samples were dry-seived.
