Caption:  The bar graph above shows the number of hours in the week in summer 1996 that Hayworth at the North Fork Noyo (site 03) water temperatures exceeded 16 degrees Celsius, which is the stress threshold used in KRIS Noyo (see InfoLinks). The weeks of the year on the Chart are from the third week in June (25) to the first week in October (40), 1996. The highest temperatures were in the last week of June through the second week of August. Temperatures exceeded 16 C much less frequently in 1999 (see next Topic). Data provided by the Mendocino Redwood Company.
