The image above shows USFS vegetation stand types for the North Fork Noyo CalWater planning watershed based on a 1994 Landsat image. The stand types are only accurate at the one hectare scale. Marble Gulch is the large tributary in the northwest corner of this CalWater and it was in mostly early seral conditions with saplings (trees < 5") and non-forest predominating. Stands of medium trees (20-29.9") border the eastern side of the North Fork CalWater. This CalWater watershed encompasses a reach of the mainstem Noyo below Northspur.
