	Caption:  The chart above shows gravel permeability for the upper mainstem Noyo River collected by the Mendocino Redwood Company. Permeability measurements were taken at 12.5 cm (a) and 25 cm (b) deep. Measured permeabilities in the thalweg were usually greater than the mean permeability.
