Topic	Timber Harvest: Percent Harvested in Minor Cr 1977-2000

 

Caption:  The chart above shows the Minor Creek Calwater Planning Watershed annual and cumulative percent of land area subject to harvest between 1977 and 2000. Sixty-eight percent of this watershed area have been subject to harvest during this period. Reeves et al. (1992) found that diversity of salmonids in Oregon coastal streams diminished when basins were harvested over 25%. These data were compiled from THP records approved by CDF but the plans were not necessarily implemented. Click the Picture Tab for THP and digital ortho-photo quad map images.
