Caption:  Percent fine sediment less than 0.85 mm from wet sieve McNeil bulk gravel samples in the Middle Fork Ten Mile River at Little Bear Haven (CFT2) for 1993-2000 are displayed above. This site shows much less fine sediment than site CFT1 further upstream, with only 1996 showing values above the 14% reference when the range of all samples is considered. Two stations (riffles) in a study reach were sampled annually. Bars represent the average of four McNeil samples at a station and whiskers represent standard deviation and 95% confidence intervals. The reference value of 14% comes from the Ten Mile River TMDL. Data provided by Hawthorne Timber Company. See Info Links for more information.
