| Caption: Results from invertebrate sampling on Easkoot and Laurel Creeks in 1995 show that the latter stream had a higher number of pollution intolerant species (EPT Taxa), and more predatory species, although fewer species overall (Total Taxa). Lower Easkoot Creek had a high abundance of the rat-tailed maggot, a very pollution tolerant species. These results suggest that water quality is better in Laurel Creek than in Lower Easkoot Creek.
