Topic Temperature: Floating Weekly Average Upper Bunker Gulch 1996-98
 
Caption:  The floating weekly average temperature of upper Bunker Gulch (site 504) did not exceed 16.8 C in any of the three years of record, which means that it is suitable for coho salmon juveniles. This is a headwater stream not far downstream of ground water sources and is also in the fog belt. The 16.8 degree C stress threshold for coho salmon was chosen based on Welsh et al.
