||North Fork Big River
||Temperature: Floating Weekly Average, Chamberlain Cr @ Two Sites, 1998
||Caption: The floating weekly average temperature of Chamberlain Creek at two sites was measured in 1998 on Jackson Demonstration State Forest. The gap in temperature between sites is a consistent 0.5-0.7 degrees C through summer, and illustrates that Arvola Gulch warms Chamberlain Creek slightly. The 16.8 degree C stress threshold for coho salmon was chosen based on Welsh et al. (2001) and that MWAT was never exceeded at this site, although the site below Arvola Gulch approached this limit.
