Area North Fork
Topic Temperature: Maximum Floating Weekly Average (F) NF Coho Ref 1994-2001

Caption:  The chart above shows the seasonal maximum of the floating weekly average water temperature (MWAT) derived from automated temperature probes placed in North Fork Gualala tributaries by Gualala Redwoods Inc from 1994 to 2001. Readings indicate fully functional conditions for salmonids, including coho in the Little North Fork and Doty Creek and all Robinson sites except rob207. Almost all North Fork mainstem sites were above the range known to support coho salmon juveniles, which is an MWAT of greater than 62.25 F (Welsh et al., 2001). See Info Links for more information.
