Topic Sediment: Suspended Sed. Load at PALCO Sites 2003-04

Caption:  The chart table "sed_annualloads_palco_freshelk_2003_2004_chart.db" shows estimated annual suspended sediment yield for PALCO's turbidity threshold sampling stations in Elk River and Freshwater Creek for hydrologic years 2003 and 2004. Sediment loads were estimated by PALCO by combining turbidity, suspended sediment and discharge data. Data were collected and processed by PALCO, and provided to KRIS by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board. Data quality varies between sites and years. See source table "sed_annualloads_palco_freshelk_2003_2004.db" for a key to sites. See Info Links for more information. A key to column headings: Short_Name = An abbreviated site name (see source table for key), 2003 = Estimated annual sediment load for hydrologic year 2003 (metric tons / square km / year), 2004 = Estimated annual sediment load for hydrologic year 2003 (metric tons / square km / year).
