Topic | Fish: Community Structure South Fork Elk River 1994 |
Caption: This fish community structure chart shows the results of pooling samples from multiple electrofishing sites in the South Fork Elk River in 1994. The data were collected in conjunction with CDFG habitat surveys and shows a community of predominantly salmonids. Juvenile steelhead dominated the samples, with coho salmon the second most abundant. Pacific lamprey juveniles live in freshwater for several years. Stickleback can exhibit both resident and anadromous life histories. | |
