| Purpose | To sample outmigrant fish at various sites in the Freshwater Creek system. In more recent years, CDFG has estimated trap efficiencies, total numbers of salmonid juveniles produced per sub-basin with confidence intervals and length-frequency charts for size of downstream migrants. |
| Data Quality Information | Downstream migrant trap results may under-represent some age classes of salmonids because of trap avoidance. Trap efficiencies vary with flow years which makes use of raw data for population trend assessment impossible. |
