Maint. and Update Freq.Annual surveys continued from 1998 to 2005
Serial NameHFAC Survey Data
PurposeSpawner surveys count redds, live fish and carcasses of coho, chinook and steelhead in mainstem reaches of Freshwater Creek and as well as its tributaries.
Data Quality InformationPopulations cannot be estimated from these data because the number of surveys and conditions in the field may vary greatly within and between years. Addition of marking adult fish at weir has made population estimation possible.
Use ConstraintsRaw spawner and carcass data cannot be used for estimating populations or for calculating trends.
