| Caption: This chart shows the amount of registered pesticides applied in sub-basins in the Humboldt and Trinity county portions of the Klamath and Trinity basins during the year 2001. Other ingredients include any solvents, surfactants, propellants, or other chemicals included in product formulations. Sub-basin summaries were built from a database with approximately 1 square mile resolution (Public Land Survey sections). Sections that straddled multiple sub-basins were randomly placed in one of the sub-basins. Unfortunately, significant portions of the basin are not included in the database (see map). Data are from the California Pesticide Use Reporting Database, which was assembled by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation. See Info Links for more information. | |
