| Caption: This Chart shows the floating weekly average water temperatures at lower Camp Creek (site 7) for the years 1997-2002. Maximum floating weekly average water temperature (MWAT) exceeded 16.8°C in all five of six years measured, which would make it usually unsuitable for coho juvenile rearing (Welsh et al., 2001). However, juvenile steelhead and Chinook would find these temperatures highly suitable for rearing. Temperature data come from automated water temperature data probes placed in the Klamath River and its tributaries by the Klamath National Forest and the Karuk Tribe.
