Topic	Tour: Therrault Creek Restoration Riparian Projects

Therrault Creek is a tributary to the Tobacco River. Stream restoration activities in the watershed will address water quality and quantity concerns associated with channelization, undersized culvert placement, and grazing in the riparian zone. This photo of Therrault Creek shows gravel bars forming in mid-channel, which are indicative of sediment over-supply. Note that cattle exclusion fences have been installed to improve riparian conditions and prevent bank erosion.
