Caption:  The chart shows the maximum daily rainfall event of the year in inches by year at Ft. Bragg, California from 1910 to 1998. Daily rainfall totals are not available for the entire period of the gauge record (1898-1999). The highest daily rainfall total of 4.15 inches was recorded in 1953. Data taken from Matthews (1999): Sediment Source Analysis and Preliminary Sediment Budget for the Noyo River.
