The KRIS Navarro project has been funded by the Sonoma County Water Agency (SCWA) and overseen by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (NCRWQCB).

This project was undertaken in large part to assemble information useful in State and federal Pacific salmon recovery planning pursuant to the State and federal endangered species acts. The contents of the KRIS Navarro project come from a wealth of sources and incorporate results of numerous previous studies, watershed plans and restoration projects

The contents of KRIS Navarro River were developed by IFR personnel. There is no expressed or implied endorsement of the contents of this project by the Sonoma County Water Agency.
