The photo was taken on May 25, 1949, looking upstream along the Navarro River at a gravel bar in Sec. 12, T15N, R17W. The river bar appears disturbed and it is likely that gravel has been extracted here in association with the Masonite Road construction, although there were no notes to that effect with the photo. Collection of the Mendocino County Museum, #1989-11-6. Gift of Roger Krueger/ Louisiana Pacific. Photographer unknown.
