Caption:  The chart shows the floating weekly average water temperature in Celsius (°C) at lower (site 82-1) and upper (site 82-4) Marsh Gulch for the year 1989. Marsh Gulch warmed 0.6 - 2.0 °C as it flowed 0.9 miles from the upper site to the lower site. Floating weekly average water temperatures did not exceed 16.8°C at either site, which would make them both suitable with regard to temperature for coho salmon (Welsh et al., 2001).
