	Caption:  The chart shows surface particle size distribution for the Navarro River in 1999. The median particle size distribution (D50) ranges from 10 mm to 25 mm, which is small for the mainstem of a large river (Knopp, 1993). According to Kondolf (1993), steelhead use spawning gravels between 10 to 45 mm. Data were provided by Mendocino Redwood Company. For more information see Info Links.
