The Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association organized a large tree planting along a power line corridor in Windsor in May 2000. The site, known as Maxcys Mills, was planted with 1200 low growing native container shrubs which arrived in a truck. The trees had to be moved up to a half mile down the river using human power alone. Photo by J. McNitt May 2000.
