KRIS Battle Creek: Chart Page

Area Basin-wide
Topic Habitat: Pool Frequency (Scour) for All Battle WA Sites 2001-2002

Caption:  This chart shows the scour pool frequency per 100 meters not scaled for stream width. Data were collected as part of the Battle Creek WA (Terraqua, 2004). Scour pools are those formed by stream meanders and not "forced" by large wood or boulders. The highest unweighted pool frequencies were on the mainstem of Battle Creek above Coleman Hatchery and at sites on U.S. Forest Service lands in Nannie Creek and upper South Fork Digger Creek. See Info Links for more information.
