The KRIS Russian project is funded by the Sonoma County Water Agency (SCWA) and overseen by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (NCRWQCB). This Institute for Fisheries Resources (IFR) project was performed, in part, to serve as a basis for shared information in Recovery Planning for Pacific salmon species under the Federal and California Endangered Species Act. The information in the KRIS Russian project comes from a wealth of sources and relies on considerable expertise already applied to analyzing the watershed and planning its restoration.  The KRIS database and associated ArcView maps can be obtained from SCWA on compact discs for a small reproduction fee. The contents of KRIS Russian were developed by IFR personnel. There is no expressed or implied endorsement of the contents of this project by the Sonoma County Water Agency.
