Battle Creek Overview

Version 2.0 of the KRIS Battle Creek database was built in part to support and assimilate the results of the Battle Creek Watershed Assessment (Terraqua, 2004). The KRIS project was performed by Kier Associates, who also assimilated geographic data (GIS) and provided assistance to Terraqua in assessing upland conditions related to sediment source analysis. Background pages summarize the Battle Creek WA findings for various parameters measured and provide complementary information from reports by the U.S. Forest Service, California Department of Fish and Game and the University of California Sierra Nevada Ecosystem Project.
